Fakhar Zaman is a well known player and opening batsman of Pakistan national cricket team. He played for the 2016 Pakistan Cup and became the second highest run scorer. He also played as a member of Lahore Qalandars team in Pakistan Super League 2017. His dream of playing for Pakistan team came true when the coach of Pakistan team Mickey Arthur noticed him in a training camp of Lahore and Fakhar got a call up to join the national team of Pakistan.
Fakhar Zaman started playing for Pakistan team in March of 2017 in matches against West Indies. In the same month he also made his debut in Twenty20 International (T20I) for Pakistan playing against West Indies team.
He made his debut in One Day International (ODI) in June of 2017 by playing for Pakistan against South Africa in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 with 31 runs. On 18th June Fakhar scored 114 runs in ICC Champions Trophy 2017 match of Pakistan against India played in England, UK which was the highest opening score of the Champions Trophy history of Pakistan team and also in ODI since 2009.
