His sister Seher Tareen is an emerging fashion designer famous for launching luxurious collection, Meher Tareen is publishing editor of magazine Paperazzi and Mariam Tareen is editor, freelance writer as well as teacher by profession. He has started Blind Cricket Leagues in South Punjab and he was signed as MOU with Pakistan Blind Cricket Council. Other than politics he also helps his father his business and farms. He is engaged with Bisma Ahmad and they are planning to get married soon.
