Hadiqa Kiani is a successful and popular singer, songwriter and philanthropist of Pakistan who has received ‘Tamgha-e-Imtiaz’ which is the highest Pakistan civilian award for her contributions in the field of music. Hadiqa started singing songs for the Pakistani movies as a playback singer in 1995 and sung many memorable as well as hit songs including ‘Hona Tha Pyar’, ‘Bol’, ‘Kya Hai Ye Uljhan’, ‘Pyar Bina Jeena Nahi’, ‘Who Mjhy Yaad’, ‘Lamha Gulab Sa’, ‘Dil Jania’, ‘Buhay Barian’ and many more. She has released many music albums in her music career such as ‘Raaz’, ‘Wajd’, ‘Aasmaan’, ‘Rough Cut’, ‘Roshni’ and ‘Rung’. She is now working on Sufi music for her next album and covering folk songs in different languages. She is now living in Lahore with her mother suffering from paralysis since 2006 and her son Naad-e-Ali. She adopted her son from Edhi Foundation after the earthquake of 2005.
